Synopsis: Inspired by Japanese mythology about the monster Orochi, Blue Seed's main character, Momiji Fujimiya, is a descendent of the mythological princess Kushinada. When Japan is attacked by angry gods spawned by Orochi, it is Momiji's destiny to be sacrificed for the salvation of human kind. These are not the "old days," however, and the modern approach to dealing with these dark forces is much less depressing: Momiji joins a secret organization that fights the gods, putting her ancestral powers to the test. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide
