Synopsis: Originally telecast in Japan, this Saturday-morning FOX network cartoon weekly was an offshoot of the old Sonic the Hedgehog TV series and video games. Most of the familiar characters -- Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Rouge, etc. -- were on hand, but their surroundings were markedly different from the computer-game-like environs of the property's earlier incarnations. Accidentally transported by Chaos Control to the \¡±real\¡± world of human beings, Sonic and company had to negotiate through this (to them) strange universe to prevent the evil Dr. Eggman from collecting the powerful Chaos Emeralds.
