Synopsis: \ĦħThe 80th Annual Academy Awards\Ħħ were held on Sunday February 24, 2008 from the Kodak Theatre, Hollywood & Highland. Two weeks prior to the awards ceremony, speculations on whether the event would push through hushed as the WGA strike ended. All five Best Picture nominees were made with a budget of $30 million dollars or less. The awards ceremony was hosted by talk show host Jon Stewart.
